Emma Watson’s Journey from the Harry Porter film series to now

Emma Watson was born on today’s day in the year 1990, turning 29 this year and she already has a well-accomplished career at a young age. It was the year 2001 that we first saw her as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Everybody absolutely fell in love with the movie but we all also loved those iconic characters including Watson’s.

She has since starred in the Harry Potter film series which ended with the final sequence in the year 2011. She has since received worldwide fame and critical accolades. Her accomplishment didn’t stop at ‘Hermione Granger’. She has starred in numerous other movies and she was loved again in most of the other movies too.

Her critically acclaimed role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower as ‘Sam’ and the movie was received pretty well too.

Among others, then came the beloved movie, Beauty and the Beast in 2017 and of course Watson as ‘Belle’ was yet again loved, cherished and appreciated.
Besides, did you know the she was the youngest person to appear on the cover of Teen Vogue in 2005?

Watson also continued her education from 2011 to 2014 by splitting her time from film projects and graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in English literature. Also in 2014, Watson was appointed as UN Women Goodwill ambassador. She helped launch the UN Women campaign HeForShe.

In 2015, she was placed number 26 on the TIME 100 list of the world’s most influential people. She also started a feminist Goodreads book club, Our Shared Shelf, in 2016.
Emma Watson’s Little Women is due to release in 2019 and we have only one thing to say, Keep going girl!
